[ Nico is not at all used to random text messages, even less so when they're about ridiculous things like this. He almost ignores it, but there was that quest..er...mission...tast thing they were supposed to be doing and Nico hates to lose. ]

[ the instructions had said to text a stranger, so she'd scrolled through her contacts list with her eyes closed, heart in her throat as she clicked a name and shot off a quick text. her fingers were shaking, and she wanted to get it accomplished, so even autocorrect couldn't save her typos. ]

[ The text is completely unexpected. His own mission was so ridiculous to him he hadn't even bothered to try. Nico hated to lose, but doing some of these challenges was just ridiculous to him. It take hims a minute to figure out that this probably isn't as out of the blue as he thinks it is. Lucky for Yachi his dyslexia makes the typo go right over his head. ]

[ she all but drops the phone when the second text comes in - her heart rate had all but stabilized after the first text; at least nico hadn't taken it completely the wrong way, and she knows that at least everyone's roped into this game and likely has similar tasks.

all of that rationale goes flying out the window. facts like that the common denominator between today's task was probably the texting a stranger portion fail in the face of pure panic of what does she do in a situation like this .]

[ Nico was taking those 5 minutes to think if he actually wanted to go out to the pet store with someone he barely knew. He didn't really mind Makoto, he seemed nice, but Nico wasn't really a social person. However it's that second text that gets a quicker response. ]

[ Nico's not sure he's going to be able to grow the seeds, but he'll try! He appreciates the presents and Shadow and Artemis both appreciate the dog treats. ]
